Leading International Logistics Company in El Segundo is seeking a skilled Import Operations Coordinator for their Branch! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Ocean Freight who is seeking the chance to continue their growth and professional development in freight forwarding.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the coordination of Import Shipments from A to Z
Assist customers with the shipment process to include bookings, quotes/rates, tracking/tracing, scheduling pickups, and invoicing
Enter shipment data into the Company's system
Provide updates to clients on potential shipment delays in a proactive manner
Maintain strong relationships with steamship lines, trucking companies, etc.
Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules and regulations
Follow customer established SOPs at all times
Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
3 years of experience in Import Operations for Ocean Freight
