National leader in freight forwarding is seeking skilled Logistics Billing Coordinator to join their growing team in Los Angeles, CA on a TEMP basis! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, a great attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have logistics or trucking experience, this would be a huge plus!
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8a-5p
*With Potential for Overtime*
Hourly Pay Range: $21-24 depending on experience level
Responsibilities to include:
Provide excellent customer service via phone/email
Handling aspects of accounting administration including billing.
Handling invoices that come in from vendors, ensuring paperwork is being submitted correctly and in a timely manner.
Data Entry - updating shipments, reports, etc.
Process international export documents
Manage inventory within the database
Calculating quotes
Effectively communicate with clients/warehouse/leadership team
Assist with tracking, tracing, and routing of domestic freight
Provide updates on shipment status and delays to clients upon request
Qualifications to include:
Strong Customer Service Background
Ocean Freight or Trucking Experience is a huge plus
Billing/Quoting Experience
Communicate effectively and professionally via phone/email
